Inaugur\u00e9e en octobre 1968, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 dot\u00e9e d&#039;un nouveau b\u00e2timent spacieux construit en 2005. Affili\u00e9 au bureau des chemins de fer de Shanghai, cet \u00e9tablissement de premi\u00e8re classe propose une ligne de train \u00e0 grande vitesse et des lignes de train classiques.<\/p>\n<p>Cette gare ferroviaire compte dix voies, dont cinq pour les d\u00e9parts et les arriv\u00e9es, deux pour les voyageurs, quatre pour le stockage des compartiments et une pour les locomotives. Elle dispose de quatre quais de 500 m\u00e8tres de long. Elle dessert plusieurs lignes, notamment celles de Hening et de Jinghu.<\/p>\n<p>La gare de Nankin \u00e9tait la principale gare de Nankin jusqu&#039;en 2010, car elle \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9e par la plupart des trains \u00e0 destination de Nankin. Nankin comptait cependant deux autres gares\u00a0: la gare de l&#039;Ouest et la gare du Sud. Le service de la gare de l&#039;Ouest est suspendu depuis longtemps, mais la gare du Sud, situ\u00e9e dans la ville fortifi\u00e9e, accueillait une partie des trains en direction du sud de Nankin.<\/p>\n<p>In mid 2010, many high speed trains to Nanjing were rerouted to its south railway station after the inauguration of its new building in the southern region of Nanjing. But some of the high speed trains bound for Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai still stop at Nanjing railway station whereas some other stop at Changzhou, Suzhou and Zhenjiang. Some D trains running overnight towards North Railway Station of Xi&#8217;an, South Railway Station of Beijing, Beijing Station or West Railway Station of Tianjin still stop at Nanjing railway station.<\/p>\n<p>La station de m\u00e9tro Nanjing, dot\u00e9e de deux lignes, dessert \u00e9galement la gare ferroviaire de Nanjing.
