• Xintiandi–Located right in the heart of Shanghai city lies Xintiandi. It has developed into a major tourist attraction because of its architectural beauty. The unique thing about this place is that all the buildings have the traditional walls and tiles which were used in ancient China. However, the interior is completely different and is reminiscent of the modern era. This place is the perfect mix of the past and the present. When you visit this place, you will get a feel of what China looked like during the 1920s and how it has changed over the years.
• The entire area is divided into two parts: North Block and the South Block. Spread over a vast area of around 25000 sq km, the South Block consists of mainly modern buildings with a slightly ancient touch.
