  1.  Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong by subway and train

It takes about 4 hours to take the subway and then take the train from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong, and the cost is about HK 190.

The advantage of this scheme is that it is more economical, but the disadvantage is that it needs to carry luggage up and down, purchase tickets, transfer, wait, and walk more and more laboriously.

Guide:

After arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to pick up luggage, walk to the airport’s south subway station for about 500 meters, walk for about 8 minutes, take Line 3 for 10 stops, the fare is about 7 yuan per person, and get off at Guangzhou east railway station. If it takes about 3 minutes at each stop, it takes about 30 minutes in total. After arriving at Guangzhou east railway station, take your luggage and walk out of the subway to the ticket office of the Guangzhou-Kowloon through the train. If you can’t find it, you can inquire in the subway and go out from the corresponding subway entrance to prevent the subway entrance from going wrong. The ticket office of the Guangzhou-Kowloon through train is open from 7: 20 to 21: 12, during which time you can buy the Guangzhou-Kowloon through train ticket. There are 12 flights from Guangzhou East railway station to Kowloon (Hung Hom) Station. The departure times are: 08: 19, 09: 04, 09: 55, 10: 37, 12: 03, 14: 04, 15: 38, 16: 14, 17: 33, 18: 20, 20: 30, 21: 32. Seats are divided into different classes and individual trains have special class seats. Tickets are free for children under the age of 5, half tickets for children between the ages of 5 and 10 (HKD95/HKD115), adult tickets HKD190 for all children over the age of 10, and special seats HKD2390. The luggage rules are: passengers can carry 20 kilograms of free luggage for adults and 10 kilograms for children (including free children). The length, width, and height of each piece of luggage shall not exceed 160 centimeters. If they are overweight, they need to check-in. The Guangzhou-Kowloon through train is divided into two types: double-decker and single-decker. Please pay attention to the time when you wait in the waiting hall after buying the ticket. Please arrive at the station 45 minutes before driving to go through the exit formalities. The boarding gate will be closed 10 minutes before driving. The train will arrive in Hong Kong about 2 hours after departure.

  1.  Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong by bus

The bus ride from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong takes about 4 hours and costs about 79 yuan if there is no traffic jam.

The advantage of this scheme is that it is more convenient. If you take the subway, you may stand while the bus has seats. The disadvantage is that the bus is generally comfortable. You also need to wait, purchase tickets by yourself, and communicate with the Chinese about the purchase of tickets. There is no English service during the bus ride. You may also encounter traffic jams. The bus will have multiple stops, so the ride time will naturally be longer.

Guide:

After arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, you can take your luggage and walk to: Airport Express Line 2A: Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport-Garden Hotel. The bus service hours are: 07: 00-22: 30, and the departure interval is 15-30 minutes. After arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, you can take your luggage and walk to Airport Express Line 5: Baiyun Airport-Oriental Hotel, where there is also a bus to Hong Kong. The bus runs from 05: 30 to 21: 00 with a departure interval of 20 minutes.

The above two hotels have buses that can go straight to Hong Kong for you to choose from. It is important to remind you that if you have a suitcase in the luggage compartment under the bus, don’t forget it when you get off the bus, and pay attention to other strange passengers on the bus. Watch your luggage and take your belongings when you get off the bus.

  1.  Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong by subway and Ferry boat

It takes about 5 hours to take the subway from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and then take a boat to Hong Kong. The cost is about 165 yuan, excluding the subway fee.

The disadvantage is that it is hard to take the subway, and the cost of taking a boat is relatively high. It also depends on the weather.

After you arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun airport, take your luggage and walk to the south airport station. Take the north extension of Metro Line 3 to get off at Sports West Road station (12 stations in total), then transfer to Metro Line 3 to get off at Zhujiang New Town Station (1 station in total), then transfer to metro line 5 to get off at the south station (5 stations in total), then transfer to metro line 4 to get off at shek kip station (6 stations in total), then take your luggage and walk out of gate A, walk about 130 meters to metro shek kip station, then take route 92 or route 92 or route 93 to get off at Lianhua mountain station (via 12 stations). After getting off the bus, walk about 360 meters to reach Guangzhou Lianhuashan Port. The whole journey is about 70 kilometers and the subway takes about 3 hours. Then, you arrive at Lianhuashan Port. At present, the routes of Lianhuashan Port can only go to Hong Kong’s Hong Kong and Macau Ferry Terminal (Sheung Wan) and China Harbour City (beside Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour City). The distance is 110 minutes and the one-way fare is 165 yuan for ordinary class.
